My phone blocks any calls and texts as spam by default when I see "Possible spam" I don't answer the call they will leave a voice message. Haven't had a landline since around 2009 never saw the point in paying for something we never used.
Only 27% Of US homes still have active landlines connected. Only 2% of US homes use a landline only.
This is why I have been saying since 2016 we are seeing polling becoming less and less accurate. Not because people moved to cell phones because cell phone providers have put in spam blockers in the last 8 years where prior to that we got lot of spam calls. Robo calling got so bad even congress passed the TRACED act robo calling industry had little support in congress passed the senate in 2019 with a 97-1 vote.
We still have a landline so we get polled 6-8times an election season.
Some are push polls so I just lie to them.
