An easy way to neuter the manipulation of the corporate elite is to simply not buy their products or services.
I do, only it's getting more difficult with food; think I saw a recent stat. where 5 companies produce well over 50%. I feel voting with my wallet at this point is more effective than my ballot.
Here is the mayor of London talking about how you will live in a open prison. You will not be allowed to drive gas or diesel cars. You will have food rationed to you and are only allowed to eat a certain amount everyday. If you violate any of the rules your bank account will be seized. If they did this in the United States wouldn't this automatically cause a revolution and the people would try to end these elites . If you have nothing left to lose you might as well fight the system. The elites are outnumbered.
To a certain extent, perhaps a great extent, those measures were implemented in the US during WWII. Gasoline and food were rationed. Cars were not even produced in a year or two, and the penny was made of steel instead of copper (copper used for electronics). Just about everything was in short supply to support the war effort. I don't recall hearing about bank accounts being seized, but people were urged to buy War Bonds. There were blackout periods, at least on coastal areas, when lights were out and/or blackout shades were used on windows. Headlights for cars were half covered by a metal shield (not sure how well that worked, but the intent was to make them less visible from the air). In my youth, a few of those cars were still around.
What he is describing is not what a 15-minute city is. A 15-minute city is one that is set up so that most people can meet most of their daily needs within a 15-minute walk of their home. That's all. Not to say that the WEF and their ilk aren't trying to limit our freedoms in the way he described. And maybe they want to use the implementation of 15-minute cities to aid in their plans. But the actual concept of a 15-minute city does not automatically mean autocracy and oppression.

That is the proper attitude but unfortunately the Democrats and authoritarians have already gained too much ground while we were all oblivious to the threats they posed.

The world economic forum a billion dollar organization with lots of power told us what they want to do. They said we have to prepare for an angrier world. The advocate for 15 minute cities and complete authoritarianism.
