I have never been to NYC for myself. Where I live, there is no such thing as catch and release. But if catch and release is the rule in NYC, then it needs to stop.
The crime might get cut in half if alot of people get put into asylums. However, alot of asylums got shut down in the 1980s. And I also have to consider how this cycle will start again. We can take these thugs and put them away. However, for every gang member that gets lock up, there are more coming up. Many gang members often know they could die young or get locked up. This is why they're always looking for new recruits. And in the ghettos, they aren't hard to find.
I am not even thinking about thug gang bangers types here, tbh.
It is the mental lone wolfers. The unpredictable roamers. They are textbook definitions of mentally ill. These are the ones pushing and punching. They are not even mugging you. Just lashing out at anyone nearby.
The thugs types have reasons, vile ones, but still reasons. And that is a separate thing, but yeah, the catch and release thing applies to them as well far too often here.
Yet you still see the young rich kid liberals partying it up, spending loads of money on luxury lifestyles, walking by dozens of African migrants and acting like the problems don’t exist. They behave as if there is no danger in the city.
That sounds biblical. As in Revelation 6 biblical.

...
Catch and release is definitely the rule in NYC, and many other places.
The head of the NYPD’s Lieutenants Benevolent Association has slammed New York City's progressive laws and policies that are hamstringing the police from keeping violent criminals locked up, saying the Big Apple effectively has what amounts to a "catch-and-release" policy for dangerous offenders.
Lou Turco, the president of the police union, made the comments in an interview with Fox News Digital in the wake of a mob of illegal immigrants viciously attacking two NYPD officers – with several of the cop-beating suspects bolting from the state after being arrested and then released.
Turco said the whole incident – including the beat-down, the arrests and releases, the lack of deportations as well as a migrant flipping the bird to reporters – is a microcosm of what’s going on every day in the city.
On Wednesday, the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) quietly dropped a bombshell. For months, the state has avoided releasing much-needed data on individuals who were arraigned in New York before lawmakers passed bail reform. But newly available data confirm what critics have long argued: bail reform was followed by a significant increase in criminal reoffending.
It’s worth explaining the new data in detail. Until now, analysts not privy to government databases had to use data on arraignments in New York State published by the Office of Courts Administration. Those data currently cover most arraignments between January 1, 2020, and December 31, 2021. New York’s bail reform went into effect on the earlier date. This means that no detailed data were publicly available on arraignments and their outcomes before bail reform—something we need to understand how things changed after bail reform’s implementation.
The new supplemental data, however, contain arraignments going back to the beginning of 2019—an additional 200,000 cases—with reliable rearrest information through September 2021. The data are imperfect: most notably, superior courts enter the data set slowly. But they provide the first comprehensive picture of bail reform’s effects. (Readers interested in how I produced the analysis in this article can find replication code here.)
Note, that last paragraph tells how places like NY hide their truly high crime rate.
The mayor clearly told the world that the migrants were going to destroy NYC. He also clearly told us all there is no end in site. He said clearly, it will not get better.
The mayor has clearly told everyone it’s time to leave. Literally, NYC will be a Migrant Center City. Period. Non migrants will all literally have to leave somehow.

If every migrant left, it still wouldn't do any good. The majority of violent crimes, especially these random attacks, come from American-born individuals, mostly American-born Blacks. African-born Blacks are far less likely to do this than American-born Blacks. It's the mentally ill, the poor, the ghetto, the angry and hateful sub-segments involved.

And why so angry? Maybe because you're 20 years old, can barely read/write and have zero job skills. Can't get a job except pushing a broom or digging a ditch and no way you will do either. So, now you're pissed. Mad at the world.
And why such misfortune?
Could it be because you were never disciplined, never told to do your homework. Allowed to do what you wanted... when you wanted. Never told as a child to sit down, keep quiet and do as your told.
Look no further than the home. It's all right there.

You missed some more "influencers."
The person who never did accomplish anything except being a hoodlum or thug also had race baiters and CRT specialists, like BLM, NAACP and others telling him not to "act white" and that all of that school work is useless, because of systemic racism. And don't forget the cops that shoot a bunch of unarmed black kids every night.

You never hear everyone's side of the story in these matters, so for all we know he did have a good reason.
You can't go around punching people, though. Whoever breaks the law loses the game.
