This is getting WAY out of hand.

Here's the problem with faculty withholding grades...

It punishes ALL students, not just those who've vandalized the school and committed violence.
Graduating students won't get their degrees.
Students without the prerequisite credit will be knocked out of classes required for their academic track, prolonging the amount of time it will take to earn their degree.
Students on academic scholarships will lose their scholarships if the withheld grades mean the difference between maintaining the required GPA or not.
And that's just the beginning...

Pretty simple. Part of the faculty members job is to issue grades to the students. If they refuse, they should be dismissed.

This could all be over in a matter of a day if the school administrations did what they should have at the beginning. They are as much to blame as the dolts taking over campuses and making irrational demands, are.

I can think of a few sensible voices who began warning of this impending charlie-foxtrot in academia at least 30 years ago. But alas, those voices were "far" "right" and "dangerous."

You really think these 'faculty' members involved really care about those 'other' law abiding students? lol.

They are blackmailing the good students to protect the ones who broke laws and were subsequently arrested.
They care not for grades, they care about their anti-West comrades.

These arrested students need to take the 'L' like a man. What "bravery" is there in defying the law and then whining about it, trying to get a redo, lol ?

The writer is using the buzzword "divest" again. People rarely used the word and now all of these people have the word flowing off their tongues like it was programmed in their brains at the same time.

This can seriously impact a lot of students.

If I were a student affected by this, I would already have an attorney writing a demand letter.

Just shut the whole school down. It's clearly past its sell-by date...
