Yep, if you are not eating organic, you are probably eating GMOs.

Eating genetically modified cattle that ate GMO crops is okay, but not lab-grown meat? Huh.

Back in the 70's/80's people were calling these GMO foods Frankenfood. They wanted them labelled as such. Tomatoes modified with ANIMAL DNA? Obviously, Vegans were horrified, but ever consider allergies?

My daughter developed a red meat allergy from being bitten by a tick during boot camp in Texas. Very sick. She was given an involuntary medical discharge because of this. Are these tomatoes modified with Chicken or COW DNA?

I have seen products being recalled because they were not labelled as containing eggs. Yes, daughter reads ingredients on labels. It is not for Political Correctness but to keep some people from getting sick.

Why ban it? If people want to eat it let them.

What I don't understand is that for years "the smartest people in the room" according to them, told us to cut out highly processed foods because they are not good for us but now those same like minded people (the Left) is trying to convince us that a 3D printed bug burger that is made to look and taste like beef is good for us?

Lab grown beef is just straight up beef. Grown from a cow’s stem cells making muscle tissue.

let's see, I got two burgers in front or me, a nice juicy lab grown burger, or a plant based soy burger...

And then a third burger is placed in front of me.. a real cow burger.

lab, plant, or cow burger?

IF the lab meat was the same as a cow in every way, except grown in a lab, I'd go for the lab. But it won't be. They will not be able to grow in a lab the same exact meat from a cow.

As for labels get ready for "10 percent lab grown" in fine print. Like "10% Ethanol" in your gas. And most won't care. It will be cheaper!

You are one of those that agree with what the government tells you what to do, unless you disagree with what the government tells you what to do.
What do you know about what I agree with? It’s actually the other way around - the People tell the government what it can do.

Maybe none, but that doesn’t mean it should be banned. What problems do alcohol, tobacco or refined sugar solve?

Not sure how his law will work given that farming is largely corporate and they been modifying meat for years.
