Don Imus, the radio jock who was fired last year for calling the Rutgers women's basketball team "nappy-headed hos," has once again put his foot in his mouth in comments related to the world of sports.
When one of Imus's on-air partners, Warner Wolf, discussed Dallas Cowboys cornerback Adam Jones' legal troubles, Imus asked, "What color is he." When told that Jones is African-American, Imus said, "Well, there you go. Now we know."

I can think of few people less relevant to the world today than Don Imus. Danny Bonaduce, perhaps? I'm NOT DEFENDING IMUS, but I have to wonder: Does anyone out there, anywhere, care what he says? It's as though someone started reporting on the garbled ravings of a talking Mrs. Beasley doll. One that had been left out in the rain. For WEEKS.

Reason: Clarification
Blacks in sports have a higher incidence with run ins with the law than their other racial counter parts.
Blacks also are more likely to commit crimes than anyone else and blacks have a higher incarcination rate than other races.
Of course none of that means crap to anyone because it is "just a steretype". That is why we see whites flocking from suburbia to the black majority inner cities to live.
Imus has a point. This behavior is not expected from white players, generally. It isn't a racist comment to me, just fact based on years of watching these players.
I don't understand why anyone would care what Imus says. If you think hes racist, simply don't listen. As for Pacman, I hope he changes with the cowboys. As it stands, hes and extremely talented dirtbag.
What a pile of crap. people making something of nothing. if you don't like Imus. turn it off. If Adams doesnt like being talked about perhaps he should try not getting arrested half a dozen times. He apparently is a thug and belongs in jail.

Frankly, I don't appreciate thuggish behavior from ANYONE making the kind of money a professional athlete earns. White or black, get some home training and straighten up.

The outrage is not about Adams being talked about, it is Imus implying that adams behaves the way he does because he is black.
