SANTA FE, N.M. — A New Mexico appeals court on Friday ruled against a Los Alamos man who wanted to change his name to a phrase containing a popular four-letter obscenity. The man appealed after a state district judge in Bernalillo County refused his request to change his name to "F--- Censorship!" Judge Nan Nash ruled that the proposed name change was "obscene, offensive and would not comport with common decency."
Apparently, not all the "nuts" are growing in Georgia!
A name change to that? What would that achieve? I'd understand if was in censorship-heavy nation like China. But in the US?
There's censorship in the US as well.
See any photos of caskets of our soldiers/marines coming home to their families?
We just don't hear about it or don't want to believe it.

Excuse me! Please don't make politically charged comments on my thread which is about about a nut case changing his name to an obscene word! I spent 2 weeks TDY (temporary duty) at the military mortuary at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware upon my return from Viet-Nam in 1968. I and most Americans are aware of the censorship that occurs at the mortuary, those policies were put into place during the Viet-Nam War as some families learned of the deaths of family members before the family was officially notified by the military. Censorship of casualty identification is a necessary part of war and deaths.
