More speculation on possible war with Iran. If it happens, I challenge anyone to find a Western leader who's caused more damage since Hitler. Or any U.S. president for that matter...

I don't much care or have any use for Bush and the neo-cons. I think they have usurped the power of the Republican party and done it severe if not irreparable damage and they certainly are not in any way "conservatives" unless you count "conserving your own power". But the worst since Hitler' That's pretty strong. He seems to be closing in on the honors of being perhaps the worst president in US history but he hasn't won that crown just yet.

I'm not saying he's worse than Hitler, but if you look at the North America, Western Europe, or the rest of the Western world since WWII, I cannot think of another leader who really challenges him on this front.

Agree wholeheartedly. Bush is not a conservative. Not in the least. He's a big-government tyrant.

I believe history will place Bush right along with Lincoln and Truman!

In Hitler's defense, he did great things for his own country. Aside from the maniacal hate of various people, as well as his world domination plans.. He was even Time Magazine's Man of the Year.

Anyways, Bush is bad, but he isn't that bad. We did re-elect him after all.

I believe that the people are no wiser than those that existed in the inquisition or those of the Salem witch trials. They believe because of their personal fear or because they gain personal benefit from something from which they are told.

Seriously, while you can disagree with Bush on many issues, this is nothing more than food for the sheep, ignorance for the masses, idiocy for the easily manipulated. There is a sucker born every minute, more true words than we will ever know.

I don't. As a conservative, I am deeply shamed that my choice for president this year from the republicans is John McCain. Bush is of the same ilk. Neither represents the priorities of conservatives in this country. With a republican controlled congress and senate, Bush could have done a lot of good to this country. Instead, he floundered all of his years as president away in a stupid crusade against terrorists. I have no problems against the WOT itself, but I disagree with the way he went about Iraq.

My main disappointment with Bush is how he has essentially handled illegal immigration. As in, he has done nothing but support it.

**** the guy. He is not a conservative, he is a RINO dressing in a donkey-dung suit, the official suit of the democrat party. With Obama poised to possibly win the 2008 election, he will legalize all illegal immigrants, adding a 20 million liberal voting pool to the voting populace, and conservatives will never again get the chance to reign. Our country is in severe danger, and I blame Bush.

My, my, it's scary to think just how much worse must things get in this country before you will think the opposite of Bush.

Default I am an old geezer.. you young'ns can note this

At the end of his 8th year, Dwight Eisenhower was vilified as a horrible president. By the 25 and 40th anniversaries of the Kennedy Inaguration, Ike was being recognized as being pdg. I won't defend or condemn GWB, but suggest that those of you under 26 better study history before you vote this fall.
