Actually the results of the study were so strong that they can easily be reproduced in the privacy of ones own home. If you are a homophobic man and you wish to explore these strong feelings you are experiencing, you can pretty much determine whether you are repressing your own homosexuality or are just a hateful person by selecting a mainstream gay porn film and watching it. If you get an erection you are repressing your own sexuality, if you don't you are just hateful. If you are not homophobic you should not expect to experience as strong of a sexual reaction to the gay porn.
Oh please... thats like saying that someone who looks at child porn and gets an erection is a pedophile. Its not true, and the national society against child pornography also does screening during their interview process and yes, this is part of the process.

If you re-read you will see that "If you get an erection you are repressing your own sexuality, if you don't you are just hateful" refers ONLY to homophobic persons, as non homophobic heterosexual men do not experience the same degree of sexual response to gay porn. Period.
& that makes it normal? People consent to do abnormal things all the time.
But you fail to explain why it's wrong because it's not statistically normal. You can say something is "abnormal" all day--that statement itself is meaningless. Who is it hurting? How is it affecting you? What is behind it that is so nefarious simply because it is not part of the majority's behavior?

A valid point. I myself could care less what they do in private. I don't even want to think about it. The same is true for me concerning heterosexual couples. The difference is that it seems the gay community is trying to force us to not only accept their lifestyle but also become educated on it. ie gay sex ed in our schools, gay sex scenes in movies even though the scenes in question do nothing for the movie. Example Alexander. I have read a lot of history about Alexander somehow his sex life was not relative enough to print.
Call me hateful or a homophobe because I don't get off on gay materials. Am I hateful because I am not in the least interested in their sex life? News flash I have heterosexual neighbors and their sex life doesn't interest me either.
