Has anyone else ever noticed that those who are the loudest and proudest in denouncing someone because of skin color or sexual orientation are probably doing so to hide their fears of dealing with their own lack of power and sexual fantasies?

There are very few that can give a straight answer when questioned about why they feel so threatened by someone different and why they believe that the miscreants are bringing the world to a rapid and ignominious end.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Yes it seems that you are right. Look into why they have such hatred and you won't like what you see.

I have always wondered if interracial porn was produced because of a demand by racists.

When Clinton was inaugurated, one of the parties in D.C. was a gay ball. Jerry Falwell got his hands on footage of same-sex couples dancing with each other and put out a video condemning it.

The video was so popular that he issued another tape, and I think a third, and raked in millions of shekels so that his followers could watch and see how it was done and cluck their tongues. I wonder how many of them purchased the tapes wishing they could have been there in a ball gown dancing with the partner of their dreams?

Can't wait for this Inauguration Day and an estimated five million people in Washington.

Hmmm...something funny going on in here Just a few weeks ago, homosexuals in CA were calling the blacks, Chinese, and Hispanics who voted against same-sex marriage, "homophobes" and all kinds of other names.

I have generally noted that people who call others racist or homophobic are generally the same as a child yelling they hate their parent because the parent said, "no."

This is not to say there are true racists and homophobics, but it is often easier to scream, "unfair," than to accept reality.

I never called anyone anything. I made a general observation about general mindsets.

Anyone who is not racist or homophobic should not be offended in the least by my post.

If the shoe fits, however...

I don't know where you got your information and won't ask for a link.

A few hundred years ago gays were almost always in the closet for life. There were only a few places in the world where they could be open about it without fear of reprisal. Many who joined in the condemnation of gays were gay themselves, in the same way that Catholic Priests condemn pederasty but have an unusually high incidence rate for their peofession.

Reread what I wrote. "The ones who are the Loudest and Proudest in denouncing someone..."

If racism and homophobia are that much of a problem for someone, he or she probably has other problems as well. At the very least an overactive imagination.

Actually, I haven't noticed that there is any rational explanation at all for the ideas of those who are loudest and proudest in denouncing someone because of skin color or sexual orientation. I don't know why they behave as they do, but I usually chalk it up to a preference for living in an imaginary world of fantasy where everything always fits together nicely according to fixed rules that supposedly wise ancestors passed down to us, rather than confronting the confusing, chaotic, and random world that at times defies explanation and rationalization and that is the one that actually surrounds us. It would all be a sort of Peter Pan-ism in that light...

Your problem is that you use the word threatened, nobody feels theatened by gays, nobody is scared of the big bad gays, people don't accept your lifestyle as normal, it's pretty simple, you only wish normal people were threatened by you.
