A Kentucky college student has hired a lawyer after she was escorted out of a mall by security on Sunday because her dress was deemed too short, MyFOXBoston reports.
Kymberly Clem, a 20-year-old student at Eastern Kentucky University, wore the dress Sunday after purchasing it from the mall in Richmond the previous day, the Richmond Register reported Tuesday. After just a few minutes inside of the mall, a security guard approached her and expressed concerns over the length of the garment.
I'd like to know what was Ms. Clem wearing under the dress? As evidenced from the photos, any movement by Ms. Clem from the vertical position would expose her posterior/buttocks. Short-shorts are shorter than Ms. Clem's minidress, but shorts don't reveal the naked buttocks or private parts, unless their cut-off shorts which barely, if ever, cover the underwear! I'm constantly staring at underwear tags and looking at thongs (very not sexy!) on the street and in the stores. Cover it up ladies, you look like you've just come from the Jerry Springer Show!

That skirt was too short for anything that did not have to do with swinging on a pole. What the heck was she thinking??

That minidress is appropriate for the beach or a pool party, but not for a shopping mall.

I have seen a lot worse. Or better. Depending on one's perspective.

Ah - come on guys and girls -

That dress is the "normal" length for high school / college girls these days!

Sounds to me like a few wives got bent out of shape that their men were checking her out -

There was nothing wrong with that dress -

Legally - I hope that Mall had a posted dress code requirement to shop there. IF they did not, this young lady's college is going to be paid for IMLO.

Have no fear, she'll get a nice settlement from the shopping mall just to make the suit go away. She'll probably get a bunch of gift cards so she can buy more minidresses! Smart lady!
