Without objection, your response is deemed inane and irrelevant. When you don't have even the beginnings of a point to make, sometimes it's better just not to post at all.

The fact that they don't know eighth grade civics might have something to do with it. I provide some refresher materials and the yahoos start in with their personal abuse and accusations rant. Best they can muster, it seems...

refresher materials? LMAO

I know exactly how a bill moves through congress, I am well informed about the positions of my representatives right down to the city commision. Parsing the minutia of political legal points is boring gothca BS that I dont have time or inclination. I would much rather take peoples opinion for what its worth and

The presumption and conceit comes from those who would make overblown claims and pronouncements without having any factual legs to stand on. Tripe is tripe, no matter how fervently it is advanced...

First Session (2005): August 1 to September 5 [Recess]
Second Session (2006): August 7 to September 4 [Recess]
My 'very short-term memory'? How very mean spirited of you --- are you sure you aren't a Republican?

Yes, I am aware of the recess.....my point was only this: It is rude to leave the way the did. Period.
Also, if we as a nation are circling the drain due to W and high gas prices....why leave? Why not call an emergency extension to the recess? I understand Pelosi's private jet was gassed and ready to go, but they couldn't stay an extra day or two? Never heard of unpaid overtime? A lot of Americans know of that firsthand.
Oh, nevermind...I am sure the Democrats felt justified in leaving the way they did because come November the Messiah will be elected and all will be right with the world.

That would be a strange thing called "public service". Seems like they take a vow or something along those lines.
