According to a Rasmussen Poll (http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/current_events/general_current_events/54_say_u_s_has_changed_for_the_worse_since_9_11 - broken link) 54% of the public feel America has changed for the worse since 9/11, only 24% say it has changed for the better.

Six weeks after the terrorist attacks, 57% said the nation had changed for the better. By Jan. 2002, 61% felt that way, but the number has been falling ever since.

Gee, I wonder who we can blame for this? You don't have to look far...1600 Pennsylvania Ave. As has been repeated over and over, Bush had a golden opportunity to bring this country together, instead he drove a wedge in it.

we can blame ultra far leftist george bush for proposing the iraq war. that's what liberal policy does. we need a conservative a la calvin coolidge. let's not fool ourselves. the world has been changing for the worse a lot longer than just before 9-11. we have been in decline for decades.

I'd like to see these polls, because they are menipulated. All of us who've had statistics in college all know that it's nothing for a sample to be contaminated with the majority vote for negative results or positive results.

they don't get any more liberal than GWB. you can deny it all you want, but I bet you can't cite a single conservative thing he has done.

Obviously your definition of liberal and mine are very different. Attacking Iraq without provocation sure isn't liberal. Torturing prisoners isn't a liberal idea either, nor is spying on it's own citizens via the Patriot Act.

I know what you're going to say...a bunch of Democrats voted for these things. Well, unfortunately, many have lost their way.
