Lots of people have tried, Sindey.

We won't debate Cheaney's LONG history of service to his country. Still, if that's what you want to hang your hat on-- you can't impeach people because you don't like their record on issues, so not even that works. The bottom line is that "impeach Cheaney" comes from a political agenda, not principal. Nobody gives a rat's caboose it Plame was "outed" or not... What the lefties care about is "sticking it" to GWB. That is not a good reason to fire anyone.

Besides, lefties, would that be such a good idea? Then your worst nightmare comes true...It would mean GWB would be running the country

Your right again, debating Cheney's "service" to this country would only get us into an argument because we see this so differently.
I believe people should care about members of this administration outing a CIA agent. That company had to shut down completly because it put the other agents in harms way. Iran now has all of the materials and can make nuclear weapons to use on us.
I don't give a darn who is president be he a Republican or Democrat, just as long as he is loyal to this country and looking out for this countrys people.
When they are as corrupt as this administration us, they should all go.

I say if you have the facts to impeach him or Bush, go for it.

The truth is, nobody has enough of anything to impeach either one of them. If they did, then they should go for it. If they don't, they should ****. If they do and aren't doing anything about it, they are just as worthless for not having the spine to do something.

Its not about being spinless.
Its about getting the proof.
Really hard to do when they are so protected that people erase e-mails, don't keep the correct records, and outright lie.
Oh and don't forget executive privelege when they don't want to answer questions.

Then what is any talk of impeachment for? You don't have proof. Why not consider calling it investigation of wrongdoing? Then when proof is obtained, call it grounds for impeachment and move forward. I think many just want to make the longest political circus of this as possible while the MSM eats from their hands and everyone can wake up every day and have something new to whine about all day when really its the same thing they were whining about yesterday.

Of course there is ample cause. Conservative legal and constitutional scholar Bruce Fein, of the American Enterprise Institute and former deputy attorney general for Reagan, wrote a nice article on the topic. But is it really worth all the money, time and trouble? Hopefully he'll just slink away on his own like Rove and Rumsfeld.
