We often associate racism with whites againts Blacks. Its not always true. Some of us Blacks can be racist indeed.
So Have any White Member on here ever been a victim of racism?
Many, many times. For white males discrimination often takes the form of double standards being applied in the work place and elsewhere. For some reason this is considered OK as long as the black or female benefits from the inequity.
I worked in a restaurant years ago that, like most restaurants in SE Michigan, had a mostly black kitchen crew and a mostly or all white front of the house staff. Management was always afraid of upsetting the blacks because they tend to sue for just about any reason, so at a certain point, the all-white waitstaff situation had to be changed. They hired a black waiter who was also a crack head and an a-hole. He would leave work to smoke crack then come back bouncing off the walls. Mind you, I didn't care what the guy smoked as long as he maintained, but he would talk shirt about the rest of us while he was working. Ironically, the guy was way too stupid to be a waiter. He would eff-up all the time, and when he did the kitchen staff would cover for him by taking our food and using it to fix his constant screw-ups.
Management was terrified to do anything about it because he had so many personal conflicts going with whites on the wait/bar staff that firing him would mean an instant law suit for the restaurant. Add to that the fact that a third of our clientèle were black and you see the potential for serious damage. So we tolerated him stealing our orders from the window and the really nasty things he said. Every now and then someone would ask him where his ticket was for the food he was taking, but it wasn't going to change anything. Eventually, we took matters into our own hands. With much encouragement from the rest of us, management gave up on turning the restaurant on its ear to accommodate one person but not before serious damage was done. Now here's the really screwed-up part. For all the nasty, insulting remarks he made to us any time he felt like it, we had to watch every word that we said so we didn't get sued. It's like that when you're white.
Thanks for responding. We tried to do something about it but couldn't afford an attorney. Things are better for my son and his family now. I should let my anger go. I don't begrudge anyone that works hard for what they get. And yes sometimes people do need a hand up. I work in South Florida and work with many different races, religions, and ethnic groups. The people where I work are wonderful caring people. I don't judge people by color, race, or religion. I treat everyone with respect as I want to be treated. South Florida is a very interesting place to live.

Just wordless at the imaginations some people have!!
Yes, and it's particularly bad in the armed forces. Several black senior enlisteds had a problem with my lack of skin pigment, and at least one black officer did (there were few black officers in the Marines at that time).
I work in manufacturing, and have had black co-workers who didn't like me because I act professional and I shave my head once a week.
One would think all "rayce" cards would have been turned in last year, but, alas this is not the case.
One of my worst ass beatings was at due to the fact I was the only white boy (16 y/o) on the job.
Didn't have a chance. The usual few-on-one situation.
I took it like a man and fought back anyway.
