Now you know it feels like when all you idiots crying now voted Bush in twice. Go floss yourselves.

I have to agree with the OP and the rest that agree with him/her.

Don't ever say "it can't get any worse". You are, by far, very very wrong.

That's what the citizens of Detroit thought when they voted their mayor in for a second term. It did get worse. Very much so.

I hope you all knew what you were doing today.

Yeah, Bush really did it to us.
Let's all pray that we can recover from 8 years including 9/11, katrina, brownouts, Enron, banking debacle, mortgage debacle, debt, unjust war, loss of respect world-wide, etc. etc. etc.

I just hope we can recover.
So does the world.

Sadly, we have all witnessed the end of the greatest country in the history of the world. It was a great ride.
For those of us old enough to have witnessed the Jimmy Carter experiment, here is round 2

Republicans don't go down without a fight. McCain may have conceded but everyone is waiting for the slip up

I hear you brother!

But really, if you feel that way, calm down.

We survived WW1, a depression, defeated the nazi's, facist & communists, hell we even made it through 4 years of Jimmy Carter. The USA will survive (and thrive) during this too. Hit a bar stool or a pew for a few hours (your call) then get back up.

Be prepared to cheer for Obama when he does the right thing (probably a rare occurence, I know) and fight back when he is blowing it (which will usually will happen when he listens to Reid & Pelosi).

But cowering in the corner & whining? Dude, that is just so........Liberal.

Look back to the Jimmy Carter years. There is your answer, because all of his talk of change, his ideas, are right out of the Carter era.

Been there, done that.

  • 9/11 — Result of lack of response to terrorist threats during the eight years of Clinton, including no response to the bombing of the USS Cole, which was a direct attack and an act of war against the U.S.
  • Katrina — I still can't see why people blame Bush for a natural disaster, which, if the state of LA had spent money to upgrade levies as they were supposed to have done, may not have been the disaster it turned out to be. Also a Democrat in charge in that state was largly to blame for the lack of response.
  • Brownouts — Expect to see more, as Obama will "bankrupt the coal industry" and electricity will become scarce.
  • Banking/Mortgage debacle — This is a Democrat created scandle entirely, and we left those responsible in office. How stupid. Barney Frank, Chriss Dodd, Chuck Schumer, and even Obama! Unbelievable.
  • Unjust war — Since when is it "unjust" to defend our country after an attack?
  • Loss of respect — This is really a lie. We never lost respect, except from foreign liberals, who never had respect for America anyway. They always wanted to see America's demise. Now they will.
