It's really nothing to be sarcastic about. America could only ever really be destroyed from within. Bush and his crime family have weakened this country. If we were on the way to a disaster before Bush, his shameful, poisonous Presidency was a final blow below the belt. Seriously, there is not one office or department of this government that has not been infiltrated by Bush/Cheney cronies. Everything that they have done has been by design, not bad judgement or ignorance. This is not a partisan stand that I am taking and has nothing to do with politics. This is a matter of humanity. What is sad is that if America ever does become a place of desperation for many of it's citizens, The Bush Crime Family will be retired to a life of luxury and indifference and some of us knowing that there were Americans that just chose to remain blind and ignorant as to what has transpired these past eight horrible years.

schtyk... How about giving us a lesson on Phil Gramm? Your not saying the CRA is to blame for this ecomonic crisis are you? Greenspan certainly was a player. There was also a NASA engineer who developed a program that would "hunt" for low income borrowers in a predatory sense.
