A Finnish film crew captured this teacher, or rather indoctrinator, bullying a little girl over political differences.

If the look on this girl's face doesn't break your heart, you might not have one.

The teacher's "lesson" comes in at about 19 seconds.

I guess i don't see as much as the McLame supporters do. She had a bias but she was forcing the kids to think about why they are picking one over the other. What changes to the Obama supporter... she had to come up with something of substance instead of the sound bites she is exposed to. Then she challenges the military mans daughter to consider the McLame plan. she didnt say anything untrue. she queried her. perhaps the look on her face came from realization of what supportting McLame meant. Maybe the thought of having dad in Iraq indefinately isn't a pleasant thought for her. They were all challenged to go beyond... well except the boy because he was black... she should have dug more on that one... but otherwise I have no issue....well except she didnt challenge them about the other candidates... BTW I voted for Nader.

How did you view your 3rd grade teacher?
Now imagine that third grade teacher talking to you like this woman talked to this little girl.
She should be ashamed of herself but she's not smart enough to know what she did was wrong.
And when was the voting age lowered to 8.

She's a bad teacher.

This is bs. If these were juniors or seniors in high school who were in a civics course, I would say this was no big deal. Teenagers (especially those getting ready for college) should be exposed to different pov, and should be learning how to think critically.

This however was a child. So she was parroting sound bites --- she is a child!! This teacher was out of line, unprofessional and should be canned. I would say the same if she was bashing obama to the little girl, or prop 8, or whatever...this is wrong, in fact it is down right mean.

I agree with you 100%. a child of this age can't be expected to argue politics with an adult..
This teacher should be working at a fast food place, not being exposed to children...

All the girl said was that her parents were voting for McCain. She didn't look embarrassed or upset or am I missing something here? But teachers must never reveal political bias [just like clergy].
