The strange thing is that for most of American history the cops really were "out of control", particularly if you were a minority, or any other "powerless" group. For the last 35 years or so things seemed to be getting better, marginally. But lately I'm not so sure. It could be just that it's more reported now with 24 hour news cycles that need to be fed, and the fact that every person over the age of 10 is walking around with a camera in their phone, and lookiing for a claim to fame.
I have no respect for the police in this situation. When the policeman said that they were trying to keep him out of traffic, how could that be if he was injured from a fall? He would have posed no threat to traffic since he couldn't move. Or, did they beat him up? In either case, the story stinks. Tase the policemen 19 times, then put a gun to their heads.
Yeah, I don't know... looks like another chop shop news story to me. I don't buy it, give me a police report or a written account from an eye witness.
What to buy, the kid is on the pavement with a broken back and they tased him. Even if he was cussing, he couldnt move or hurt them. The police should not have tased him.
How do you know he was on the pavement, i didnt hear that. Even still you can do alot of damage from the pavement
Ever seen a drunk in blackout?
