Yes, this is true. But for our part, the massive deregulation of the financial industry played a huge part and had a global ripple effect. Is the current American administration solely to blame? No. Did they have a hand in the global meltdown? Absolutely.

I know this is stolen from the W word, but it was quick and easy

Education

Bush, as a child, was not accepted for admission by St. John's School in Houston, Texas, a prestigious private school.[14] Instead, he attended The Kinkaid School, the private school from which St. John's had broken away.[14][15]
Bush attended Phillips Academy, an all-boys private high school in Andover, Massachusetts, where he played baseball and during his senior year was the head cheerleader.[16][17] Following in his father's footsteps, Bush attended Yale University from 1964 to 1968, receiving a Bachelor's degree in history in 1968.[18] As a college senior, Bush became a member of the secretive Skull and Bones society.[19] By his own characterization, he was an average student.[20]
In 1970, Bush applied to, but was not accepted into, the University of Texas School of Law.[21] Beginning in the fall of 1973, Bush attended Harvard University, where he earned an MBA.[22]

Let's see...hmmmm he couldn't get into U of T law,BUT he somehow gets into Harvard AND Yale.....Get real.Money talks REAL loud and obviously makes an idiot child look more "ivy league" worthy.
