For African-American Web surfers who just can't relate to their browsers, there's hope: the Blackbird Web browser.
Billed as "the Web browser for the African-American community," it's a modification of Mozilla Firefox with a different color scheme — black and earthy shades of green and brown — as well as certain built-in features meant to appeal to black Americans.
This is absolutely ridiculous! A web browser for Blacks! As a white American, I consider this to be racist! What's next, web browsers for Latinos, Asians, Native Americans, gays, etc. The Internet is color blind, it doesn't matter who is in front of the keyboard, the software operates the same. To have a web browser for African-Americans is an affront, not only to Blacks, but to all other ethnicities that are, by implication, excluded from the use of the Blackbird web browser. This really p***** me off!

Are you serious? If you don't like the idea, then don't use the browser.

And how is it racist? You're not prohibited from using the browser because of your skin color.

Do you also get "pissed off" when you see hair care products for black people? I guess those products are racist too, in your world.

I almost can't stop laughing at the idea of someone getting all indignant about a browser!

Look, they also have a Christian browser on Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4755 (broken link)
As a Jewish-American, I am outraged!!

And don't worry, they have one for White people too... https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4511

It's OK to market a SEPERATE web browser. So long as it's EQUAL in function to the ones for other races.

You realize that anyone can skin a Firefox browser to look like anything, right?

You could make your own "White Man" one right now in about 5 min.

The more I hang out here the more concerned I become about the mental health of a growing number of Euro-Americans.
