I'm not going to hang around in this thread and argue it. It feels a lot like arguing about whether or not Obama is an American citizen.
First off, its BOGUS, just like Obama and Gore. Youre just following the other blind sheep. I wanna ask you all, were you all around for the Dust Bowl? The 40s, 50's and 60's when record temps here on earth were recorded and mass natural disasters occurred? When glacial levels retreated? If you were here for those events, did you all whine and cry and make up BS just to scare the entire world? And even before those times, we (as humans), lacked the technology to accurately monitor such things as glacial thickening/thinning! We only see it now because of our technology, and naturally many freak out and run around like chickens with their heads cut off. WARMING AND COOLING IS PART OF THE EARTHS NATURAL CYCLE!!!!!!!!

My fave is how Al Gore is actually not "green" himself at all. What a hypocritical, brainwashing scumbag. He should repay American taxpayers for all the billions he's wasted researching sometihng that doesnt need to be researched to the extent he says it does.

What's a matter Steve-o, think of the upsides. Now that the mayor has no-water urinals in City Hall that has got to make if off limits to discuss deals -- without the flushing sounds the Fed can record every word!

Now its "global climate crisis" or whatever Al calls it these days. Bottom line is that more places are seeing record cold than places are seeing record warm. Glaciers are in fact getting THICKER in many areas, record cold temps have plagued many areas of the world (England, Australia, USA, Europe), record snowfalls are being reported in many areas (earlier, too).

Lets see... in the last 2 years we've seen the first snowfall in Baghdad, Iraq in more than 100 years. Snowfall in L.A. Snowfall in New Orleans, Las Vegas, record amounts in Seattle and Portland, record amounts in WI, MI and almost in IL, HUGE ice storms in the Northeast USA, record cold temps in Northern Minnesota, record cold in NC, below average temps in Melbourne, Australia, the coolest summer (almost all of the USA) in a decade...

The earth's temp is related to the sun, not mankind.
Haven't you heard snow and temperature doesn't matter when you get bit by the B.S. BUG

More harsh and severe winter climate across the temperate zone is one of the consequences of global warming, which will adversely affect the world's food production and the human carrying capacity of the earth's environment. The naysayers will come to grips with the reality of global warming at the grocery store when they are fighting in the isles for the food on the shelves.

- CO2 is one of many GH gases. It doesn't come from trees but trees "breathe" it in. Less trees due to deforestation also means more CO2.
- An often missed point when discussing GH gases, and pollution in general, is acidic rain. Now who here wouldn't like more of that? You just got another point to discuss with your wife.
- Yes, China and India can put a lot of GHG/pollution up there but we should also consider the fact that, for example, India has four times as many people as we have here but consumes only a tenth of oil per day.
- Did I say that I agree with your wife?
