I don't know about the rest of the country but in Illinois you can buy anything with Mr Obama's picture on it. From plates to toilet paper. I assume the people using his likeness have paid a price for it. Who is getting the money? Sports figures make millions in sales of things with their picture. I would imagine the Obama coffers are growing as I write this. Has anyone heard where it is going?

Because he's an elected official, Obama's speeches and image are in the public domain and can be used without his permission.
