I'm sorry, I'm literally laughing out loud in my office here at work. Your statement is that funny. Ignorance is bliss, isn't it?

I'm sorry, but we are.

Maybe some more than others, maybe some like different things more than others, but we all enjoy it on some level.

...and it's certainly better than most TV these days. Nobody dies, nobody gets mamed, and everybody smiles at the end, including the audience, lol.

Well, I guess I'm unkind then, and unpatriotic, and un-whatever else you think.

Accountability. I think the Christian community needs to explore that term.

No. Unkind because in the manner in which you respond to people (from what I've seen).

Unpatriotic? Who knows.

Obsessed with the subject of Christianity? Definitely.

Just for the record, I don't feel you called me out on my "claim".

Why must one be mean-spirited when they disagree with a poster?

ILNC is a very intelligent, articulate, thoughtful poster. She doesn't need to be defended. But them's fightin' words!! Back off one of the warmest people on this forum!

Sorry ILNC. I had to put my 2 cents in. Carry on.

When I went to Holland, I got to the hotel, took my shoes off, and flipped on the TeeVee, as I am accustomed to doing. I start flipping through the channels...and..Oh my GOD! It's the pant and moan network!

Over there, it's no big deal. You want it, it's there. You don't, don't watch it. Dutch women don't seem to have a lot of problem with slavering perverts who've been programmed by porn.

It's a nasty habit, watching it. But gals should think for a moment - would you prefer your husband chewed tobacco?

Us boys are nasty. We get dirty and make messes, a lot. But you love us anyway.

The tone you might see in my posts to you and your brethren is one of frustration.

I don't mean to be rude, but in all honesty, I feel like I'm talking to a wall more often than not.

You're set in your "beliefs" and refuse to explore anything different.

....and I've seen more insults, direct and indirect, come from your keyboard than many others on here. The judgmental rhetoric flows quite freely as well.

...and you're partially right. I'm "obsessed" with shutting you people down when you start purveying what I believe to be falsehoods and fairy tales.

I own an adult chat line. You wouldn't believe the amount of women who question the charge on their credit card bill and claim their husband is a Christian and would never call such a service. Funny thing is their phone number appears on my toll-free bill. Many of these Christian men have wild fantasies and fetishes they could never share with their wives. Many husbands have needs they don't care to discuss with their wives. I guess you just don't understand.

Mean-spirited? Nah. I honestly find this discussion hilarious. I'm amazed that some people believe the things they do. I guess it gives them comfort at night. To each his (or her) own.
