Best government money can buy. When will people start realizing the government does NOT work for us. Isn't 2 years of of seeing corporate/bank bailouts, loopholes, accounting changes, lax regulation enough to convince you ?

And these last 2 years should also convince you that the Dems and Repubs are one in the same behind those labels.

"Whether it's government or the financial system, we're not going to be able to do what is needed to be done to stabilize our financial system if the American people read about this type of outrageous behavior," [Gibbs] told reporters. "I think it was the sixth-largest year of bonuses, and I don't think anybody that's opened their 401(k) statement has found out that this was the sixth best year for Wall Street."
Is it outrageous? Or is it their business what they do with their money?
It is their business! Obama needs to take care off what he is suppose to do and to fire all the bad apples in his government...(maybe if he him self will go we will get rid of the rest at the same time...would be the easiest way!)...
than take a decision on Afghanistan, tax cuts to create jobs and reform health care instead of socialist healthcare which he can have for him self and his family and let us keep what we have in a better form!

Obama's remarks are a bit too reminiscent of his manufactured "outrage" over the AIG bonuses last spring. Bonuses that were specifically allowed within the stimulus bill.

It's real simple-if he wants to bonus practice to stop, then simply make it a condition of the lending regulations to these institutions. Take govt money, follow govt rules. The fact that there's so little oversight has more to do with deficiencies in the lender, not the borrower.
