hahahahahahahahaha! brilliant! now if we can just get some of those who have smoked a joint to get behind the boycott!
Right there with you, brother! Except, I don't really buy that crap any more, anyway. A quick look in the pantry reveals no Kellogg's products, but when I was in college, that was another story!
I think Kellog's made an unwise decision here. They've offended the entire stoner demographic. This is the same group whose members, in their munchie-driven frenzy, can (and will) demolish an entire box of Fruit Loops or Apple Jacks in a single sitting.
Not that I have any personal experience with this....

Unfortunately, Kelloggs is not worried about a boycott from pot smokers. When they get the munchies they'll lose self control and go for that sweet cereal.
As a parent I shutter to think that my kid (who is now 3) willl run into those who think that doing illegal drugs is OK and that they can pick and choose which laws to break. I thankfully have never seen pot in my life and I never knowingly met anyone who has done it. I am 43. I dont understand the idea that someone needs a mind altering drug to enjoy themselves. FWIW I dont drink alcohol or caffeine either.
What someone wants to do in the private time is ok...but trying to say it is OK to do an illegal drug is IMO setting a terrible example for our youth.
I think Michael Phelps is a good kid as he owned up to it and admitted his error. But there are consequences when you do something wrong. If you dont think it is wrong to smoke pot, then so be it, but on the law books it is and saying he shouldn't have been dealt with in some way is saying to our youth that some laws matter and others dont (just pick and choose).
Wow, I bet you really have kelloggs quaking in their shoes with all the power and influence you have. They are a company and they can have who they want endorsing their products and it isn't Phelps anymore. Get over it
For what its worth, this isn't the only internet rumbling of boycotting Kellogg's. Not by a long shot.
And while stoners don't have swaths of spokespersons and attorneys aside from something like High Times or Cheech and Chong; it is really easy to buy the store brand...cheaper, too. Beware of potheads in large numbers...they might actually do something after they lay that bong down.
Hell there is probably a facebookspacewhatever group about boycotting Kelloggs by now.

Yes you have met tons of people who smoke or have smoked pot. Nearly half of Americans have smoked pot. We're everywhere.
Lawful/unlawful≠Right/wrong.
There have been many laws in the history of this nation that were wrong or immoral, and the people who chose to break those laws are now seen as heroes and champions of their cause.
Pothead revolution.... I love it how all the weed smokers rationalize it. YIPPIE SKIPPIE, you smoke weed, want a cookie????? ( might help with the munchies)
