You are too funny - what a silly silly silly thing to say - completely devoid of truth or accuracy....

Class Warfare is a common mantra and battle hymn when the upper class tries to hold on to all that they have taken from the poor and middle class.

It's best not to stereotype.

Never taken any subsidies or entitlements, in any business i've owned.

Rush said, "No Democrat put a policy in place that made our country better off for the constituents."

What about "The New Deal"? Any Rush lover who believes him on this point, should not accept Social Security when they retire!

Rush said, "Government is an obstacle for the success of the individual."

Perhaps Rush is not aware of how education has brought many out of poverty and made them productive. Perhaps Rush does not know the history of past countries where education was only for the wealthy who could afford it.

I could, and will, give many other examples later. Frankly, watching Rush's speech, gave me a migraine!

The two wealthiest guys in the world (Gates/Buffett) that we know of, started with nothing.

You dismiss ingenuity and hardwork with such baseless class warfare comments.

They don't realize that because of Obama' focus on Rush he is being condescending. All because Obama felt the need to point out a radio talk show host. Of course he's going to eat it up. Like he said he doesn't have to do anything and the left leaning media just keeps him popular.... Kinda sounds similar to someone like say.. Palin.

It's their dire need for attack entertainment is all I can figure. Once Bush was out they are searching any and everywhere. They also use this to try and skirt their own blips that seem to be happeneing hourly.

Social Security is a rip-off. The money that we have put in will in no way be close to what we get out. It has morphed into and been looted by the very same government you applaud - over and over again. There is no trustfund for SS - it's more a slush fund.

The public schools are a mess - throwing more money at them makes no sense, except to a liberal.

The SC schools spend approx $15,000/student. They have a horrible record as being one of the worst school districts in the country, in terms of graduation rates and attendance. $15,000 would provide for a very, very good private education.

I am not a Republican (nor Democrat), and still listen to all kinds of radio talk shows including Rush, and Savage.

Then after offending people of religion with his joke of poor taste, the RPAC gives him an award for his role in promoting the 1st amendment!

After that, Rush's entire speech was unsubstantiated propaganda
.
Reminds me of 1966 when John Lennon said the Beatles were "...more popular than Jesus now" in an interview and gave the right wingers a massive stroke.

I still remember the record burnings sponsored by churches and conservative groups all over the country, and even the Vatican denouncing them. Lennon's statement was a (correct) observation that Christian churches were experiencing a membership decline, and the Beatles were selling more records than ever, not an empirical statement or an expression of a religious viewpoint.

Wonder how many righties will cross themselves and turn the radio to another station after this blasphemy by their "messiah"?

What exactly have they "taken" from the poor and middle class.

I can only assume you would also begrudge obama and his wife from the upper middle class life they led.
Wifey making $300,000 a year, $1.6 million house, kids go to the best private school. How many backs of the poor did he have to walk on to get where he is?
