Let me be first to say that if I could go back and vote again my vote would go to Mccain.

Obama may be very popular right now but it just goes to show how blind many American's are. Obama has spent enormous mounds of money and everytime he spends, spends, spends the economy and market plunges further into oblivion. Everytime he speaks the market plunges. Obama has done nothing to strenghten our country financially or defensively.

Voting for Obama was the biggest mistake I could have made and I'm sincerely sorry for my mistake. By the time Obama is finished our tax dollars won't even cover the interest on the money we owe.

Nope, I'm happy I voted for him & I'll continue to be happy because as far as I can see, he's making decisions that I agree with (including decisions not having to do w/the economy) & that I had hoped he would follow thru with, which he has so far.

What would McCain have done? Answer: Nothing different.

The election should have been between Ralph Nader an Ron Paul so that this country could intelligently decide between socialism and Free Republic.

McCain and Obama are both Socialists.

Bush was Fascist.

I doubt that mccain would have pushed through a $3 Trillion budget.

And obama is acting as much like a little dictator as Bush ever did. First thing he did was sign a bunch of executive orders and begin work to nationalize the banks.

I agree with karfar. In the first month alone, he made a bunch of decisions that I was incredibly happy with. So far, so good.

Its always best to make a decision and then a month later make a completely different one..

Yes.. everyone is blind except you right? Makes perfect sense. I mean because you have the same access to the greatest economists in the world at your call? I assume they've come up with a different plan right? Care to outline that plan?

I know crazy right? Its shocking that a market built on 8 years of a house of cards can fall. So strange..

You are right.. it won't. Then again McCain would have been telling us that the "market is strong.." right now. I dare say with McCain at the table your baramoter of government success (the market) would be below 6,000

The orders Obama signed were to recind orders signed by Bush.

All I've heard is that nationalization of banks may be an option. I haven't heard of work already being done.

Sign a bunch of executive orders? What the heck do you think every president does when they get into office?

Same here. I'm having a hard time keeping up with all the improvements. Being a liberal, I'm against increasing the national debt except for dire emergencies. This is an emergency if there ever was one (thanks Republicans!), and I don't disagree much with Obama's spending.
