Jon Stewart has a young, liberal fanbase and plays to them very well. It would be wrong to expect anything else. You don't watch one person to get a balanced opinion. Get opinions from Stewart, CNN, FOX, MSNBC, WSJ, Newsweek, and then form your own opinion from what you have seen and read. If you take what is said/written at face value, you WILL miss out on what is really going on.

It was very rich of him to sarcastically mention how aroused he was by "cheap populism".

The entire segment seems to be dripping of cheap populism to me

I just watched the video and am totally on Jon Stewart's side on this.

Call me when you can use your eloquence to critic what Stewart said, why it was wrong, or even liberal for that matter.

I await your grandiloquent insights (yeah right).

Cramer looked like a whipped dog. His posture the whole time was submissive to Stewart and he kissed his butt the entire interview.

CNN, FOX, MSNBC, WSJ, Newsweek all claim to be news outlets. The Daily Show is on the Comedy Channel. It's role is to lampoon the blowhards of the world.

I always wonder why the conservatives don't have someone on par with Stewart that can interject comedy and cater to a young fanbase as well. Dennis Miller somewhat could've, but I think he goes over too many peoples' heads.

I agree with what Stewart said in this particular instance. I just think it is important to remember the slant a particular source has. I am more annoyed at people who shove minor 'victories' for one side of the isle or the other in everyone's faces.
