Bank of America - Bank of American Bailout Bonuses

AIG - All INVINCIBLE to GOVERNMENT

CITI- CORRUPTED IDEALS TAKE-OUT INSTITUTE

IF you have an account with these or other companies that received Bailout funds that have been walking out the front door with their pockets full of our bailout money- are you ready to pull your money from those accounts on tax day APRIL 15th?

They heard our outrage about the bailout bonuses. It took 40 days since President Obama told them to put a stop to the order for the $50 Million jet and the bailout bonuses- for them to react.

Now they need to know that unless we are given assurances that this corrupt use of the funds will end- along with a solid reason why we should give them more time- that we will not support those companies in any way.

They think they are invincible because they are too big- and failing will make the economy even worse. Nationalizing the banks will have people screaming that we are turning to Socialism. However, if the CEO"S are going to continue to walk out the front doors with their pockets lined with bailout funds on the way from their newly decorated multi-million dollar offices and hop on their private jets-how are they ever going to become solid and pay back funds anyway?

We need to see serious action taken by the government now.

What answers do you see?

I think, while I understand the idea of it.. it is a VERY dangerous idea. We would be cutting off our nose to spite our face. We are already so invested in these companies, but by pulling our money out as accounts we are certain to doom it to failure.. adn along with that we stand to loose the investment we made as tax payers AND in addition will cause this nation much more.

After all, you pull the money and the bank collapses who do you think covers that pull out? The FDIC who will have to pay out all that mnoey pulled and those still left when the bank folds.

I don't disagree with any of the comments you made. However, there seems to be no end to the level of corruption these CEO's will go to achieve personal gain from the bailout funds. Multi-Million renovations to CEO offices along with Multi-Million Bailout Bonuses. They all know how bad the economy is more so than many average americans- yet their greed comes first.
I certainly don't know the answer but the solution is certainly not more of the same. We need to see them have accountability. We need to see CEO's lose their jobs. We need to see a sense of responsibility and ethics during such a difficult economic time.

does this also mean that the USG is going to do the same thing they are doing to AIG to freddie mac and fannie mae for giving out their $1,000,000 bonuses?

somehow I dont think so.

In total agreement.

I think that AMerican Corporations.. the big players atleast.. and CEO's have a HUGE PR problem on their hands now. The image of them that they painted for themselves is NOT a good one.

They've shown they care little about the health of this country and have sold out their country to line their own pockets. Funny thing is, if they continue with this behaviour they would have lined their own pockets with worthless money and sold out their country in the proccess.

I find it laughable that they are excusing it away with "retention". But if you have ANY moral fiber within you whatsoever your "retention" should be to STAY and FIX the problems that YOU caused the nation and all those families suffering as a result. I think they would garner much more respect if they forgo all the extras and perks while they work to recover the mess they made (it's not like they don't have money .. I mean come on.. they are quite comfortable). Restore their image in America's eyes adn restore faith in Corporate America. Then, once you've proven that you can clean up your mess , let the American people worry about how retainable worthy you are!!

But then again.. I am beginning to think that in order to be a CEO you need to check your morals and sense of what is right and wrong and check it at the door and be left with only greed and corruption.

I have been undergoing several surgeries and have not partcipated in these discussions the last few months. However, I am back. I cannot believe how fast Obama proved he is a socialist. Everytime he comes up with another solution, it's our money he is using to fund, not the lost jobs, but the new social programs he promised his kool-aid followers. Where do you think the !@#$%^&*()_+money for "his" new health program is coming from" Those of us who have income. I am sick and tired of meeting his "guest illegals" at the clinics and hospitals getting the best care...free. Yeah, that 's what they say. While I dig deep in my purse for my co-pay or deductible, these criminaliens just smile and say me free. They even get travel vouchers to the specialty hospitals. My husband encountered severl illegals at the post office, holding up the line, while they demanded interpeters and that the clerks fill out their papers...no english...no english. When my husband reached the counter, he said, "Now fill our my papers just like you did for him and waited until it was done. At the super markets, we are now asking, "Gee, where did you get that card that allows you all this free food, I want one." They need to go home. Obama wants us to support Wall St. welfare recipients, illegals as opposed to veterans and working families. He is using Airforce One like a taxi...campaigning on our dime....spouting garbage he expects us to believe. "None of us did this bill???????" What....You signed it...it may have been last year's budget but it was this year's money. How long must we put up with this. Chris Dodd, Barney Frank, Harry Reid, Nancy Jet Polosi.....we need to support people in their districts and get rid of them. I just made out my taxes which include as income, my social security check....while those at the top (Wall St) and those at the bottom, welfare and illegals....consume my meager income. Revolution is coming........

Default Again- Not a party issue- it's integrity and accountability with all bailed out firms

FriendlyBlogger- You wrote ....

I am sick and tired of meeting his "guest illegals" at the clinics and hospitals getting the best care.

First of all Obama did not give out the first Stimulus funds. So the money these guys are spending - came from the Bush. Why make it just a political party line. This is a much bigger problem than some imaginary party line- it goes to the integrity of CEO"s all around and to members of both political parties.

As for your comment about your husband --
"When my husband reached the counter, he said, "Now fill our my papers just like you did for him and waited until it was done".

Gee- guess we are all glad we weren't behind your husband. If he did that- surprised they didn't call the police. They can't have people getting out of control in there - besides no reason to take it out on the worker or those behind him in line.

You also wrote- Obama wants us to support Wall St. welfare recipients, illegals as opposed to veterans and working families.

Obama's plan calls for doing more for military and vets than they have had in years...updated housing, pay and benefits. If you hadn't noticed- Our First Lady has this as her main cause!

" He is using Airforce One like a taxi.." that's the nature of being the President. He can't fly on commercial jets.

Finally you wrote- Revolution is coming........[/quote]
We need revolution- done in the right way. Not some people tossing out blame where it doesn't belong. You can't blame a president who has been in office for 60 days for 8 plus years of problems. The economic collapse happened before it was his watch. He's listening if you have a solution.
The rest you seem to blame on immigrants - is naive, unfounded and racist.

Wow, you must have some special insider information that the rest of america should know about.

What exactly is the corruption and how exactly are the CEO's achieving personal gain from the bailout? (especially since many of those your accusing have reduced their salary to $1 per year)...

You want to end the bailouts, vote for people who follow the constitution you never would have had this problem in the first place.
You want to do something on APril 15th remember its TAX day and its the day government rejoices and WE the People hate.
Remove the income tax, repeal the 16th amendment remove the dead weight congress and president who believe government is the solution.
Small limited government is needed to restore your freedom, not the continued debt and big government idealogy.
