Seriously, how many people in this forum are there that give a rat's a-ss about being a democrat or a republican? Who only cares about being an AMERICAN and understands that choosing sides and fighting is what screws the pooch. Who was it that said once upon a time, a house divided will not stand? Just some dude in a funny hat, must have been a real a-sshole 'cause someone shot him right?

Take the poll and show your colors.

I'm a U.S. citizen and I care about the U.S. and I'm a card carrying Libertarian. I don't choose sides and both Donks and Pubes are wrong.

I'm a registered democrat but DEFINITELY vote for the best candidate even if he or she is from a different party. In long island theres a guy named Flanagan who i've met on numerous occasions and he has followed through on every promise he has made,so even though he's a republican---I always vote for him.If George W was a democrat,I would have voted for the other guy!

I frnkly think that any american will not just sit and be quite when he doen't agree just to get along. not much of a choice in that poll. Looks like some above doesn't know he has chosen a side just does realise it.

Depends on which definition of "American citizen" you are using.

I don't care what party a politician belongs to. I care if he is hard-working, honest, and is the right person for the job.

i'm not asking anyone to play nice or be quiet just to get along. you either work together or you don't work together. how many more choices do you want, man?
