Just like what everyone has been sayin'...another Jimmy Carter. We will have to wait until 2012 to get the Captain free.

Sure. It would probly make the pirates crap their pants and jump ship thus freeing the Captain.

I think he may well find something down there as where he has his head most of the time.

Several, as in, more than one. Here is a link I posted days ago. Look at it for yourself.

Default Somali pirates, with the tacit approval of their government, have attacked a US vessel - I consider that an act of war.

Iraq and Afganistan never attacked us, yet we spend a trillion dollars on those 'wars', and here is a country that has attacked us and we say there is nothing we can do. Does that make a whole lot of sense to you?

Who do we wage war on? They have no viable government and the pirates/criminals don't represent that non-functioning government . I guess you want a "war on pirates" or something. Maybe create a "Department of Ocean Security". That's ridiculous.

Good points.
Lets just raise a white flag up the mast and hand over the helm.
The crew can swim home.

It doesnt matter who attacks us, we attack who we want to. The oil was in Iraq and the neocons knew there was alot of money there. They took us all for a ride to get it, and they got it, over the dead bodies of huidreds of thousands of innocent people. Throw in the Afghan people who have died from U.S. bombings and rocket attacks and we have killed well over a million innocent people since September 11, 2001.

No wonder the world hates us, the same reason they hate our number one ally, Israel.

But as this forum proves, what is just does not matter to a good many people in this country (dare I say most?)

And the killing will continue, because there are "targets of opportunity" out there, but more importantly, the Defense Budget must be fed.

Right now its so fat it cannot move, it must be force fed.
