WASHINGTON — Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is out, and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich is in as keynote speaker at a Republican dinner this spring.

A GOP official trashed Palin to Fox News and insisted that her camp wasn't telling the truth. "She was a disaster," the source said. "We had confirmation."

A senate seat came open recently and Palin had to appoint someone to take it. It was a Dem. seat; the man she appointed had been a registered Republican until just a couple of weeks before the appointment. He claimed he thought he was registered as a Democrat.

We already have socialism. For the top 10% of wealth holders. Their debt is socialized. You and I are paying it. Their wealth is privatized.

Naturally you have to leave out the rest of Grussendorf's Democrat qualifications because your hatred and spite won't allow you to be honest.

Grussendorf was chief of staff for Bethel Democrat Sen. Lyman Hoffman and his father is Ben Grussendorf, a former Democrat State House speaker from Sitka. Tim Grussendorf himself ran for the state House as a Democrat in 2002, losing to then Juneau Republican Rep. Bruce Weyhrauch.

Up until recently, I was of the opinion that Sarah Palin would vanish from the national radar if the good people of Alaska would refuse to re-elect her as their Governor. However, as someone once noted, things change. Now I believe that Alaskans would actually be doing the whole nation a tremendous service by biting the bullet and keeping her in office...because she does nothing but keep peoples' mind focused on the idea that the winner of the 2012 Presidential election ought to be a Democrat.

As things stand today, Governor Palin will be reelected as Governor, should she choose to run again in 2010. On the other hand, if she were to run against Senator Lisa Murkowski in 2010, she could probably beat her easily. I would much rather see Senator Palin than Senator Murkowski. It would be even better if Sarah were to replace Sen. Begich after his recall.
