Since the Govt is throwing Trillions to many worthless projects, let's give every G.I. who served a tour of duty in a war zone a major credit toward the purchase of a foreclosed home.
Every year spent in a war zone gets $100k toward the price and must be a foreclosure purchased from a bank. Any major injury get's a $300k bonus.
If we are going to blow money, let's blow it to people who've served the country as our way of saying a big Thank You.
Rakin good idea, but the original purpose of VA loans reinstated would solve much of the problem all by itself. 40yr erosions of military benefits are embarrassing IMO.
