and the cigerette tax is not on "your taxes" (on your income, investments). I won't be paying it. Maybe it should be tripled.

Again let me remind you that you lost the election......Get over it.

No one claimed the proposal was from Obama nor did Obama pledge to not raise taxes unless "others propose" to do so

There are three similar bills being introduced, the fact that the tax is being put on transactions means what? Its not a tax?

So now higher fees do not equal a tax? (or better yet, NEW fees?)
People who make under $250K a year dont invest in the stock market?

Let me remind you that it was YOUR candidate, and you dont even know what he said?

Why would someone play the market knowing that the very second they make a trade they've lost money. Fees yeah, thats one thing, I can write them off, but taxes before I begin investing, not on your life..

Its one thing to tax profits, its another to tax to play, like the cigarette tax people just decide to stop paying..

Tax rates do not rate on surveys as being an important issue. http://www.pollingreport.com/prioriti.htm

Only the right wing conspriacy nuts, gun nuts, and militia types use it to rally their lemmings.

Stop whining and win an election.
