Sen. David Vitter of Louisiana is facing a potentially risque challenge next year. Porn star Stormy Daniels is considering running for the Republican's seat in 2010.
Daniels, the star of such films as "Operating Desert Stormy," launches a "listening tour" across the state next week, to "meet with Louisiana men and women and listen to the issues and concerns they struggle with every day
She is more honest than Vitter, claims to have "found God". He like death row inmates find God when their backs are to the wall. All the while screwing the state of Louisanna. At least she is screwing for money out in the open, and she is not phoneying up in the name of God...I hope, if the people in the primary elimate "Hooker Vetter" and make Daniels their Republican canidate then elect a Democrat.
Recently at Reagan Int airport he pitched a hissy because he was too late for a flight and he started screaming at a reservation agent wanting to know who if she knew he was...You know, the old, "Do you know who I am"?

Having someone in the Senate who knows how to make an honest living would definitely be a welcome change.

Hmm. Good points. I'm glad you mentioned the "child protection" platform. That's a warning sign to me. I hope she hasn't decided that her past in adult entertainment is something to be ashamed of.
And yes, doing sex work is one of the most honest ways to make a living. I know from my own experience. People are so nutty about sex, though, they think that being a prostitute is "demeaning" while being a waiter is not.
All jokes aside - it is time, IMO, to "clean house" - to get rid of the old guard and bring in some new, fresh thinking, non entrenched representatives into our government.
Realizing this is fantasy but, can you imagine what would happen if, in 2010, 1/3 of the House and Senate were REPLACED with Freshman? New ideas would be running amok

For once I'm with you on a topic. I'd love to see Reps get a term limit of 6 terms (12 years) and Senators get a term limit of 2 terms (12 years). I'd also like to see committee assignments and chairpersons rotate every four years.
