Many sources, including the Bible, the dictionary, and the majority of voters in the many states that have mandated marriage be reserved for heterosexual couples only.

One man and one woman. What is it going to take for leftists to realize that this is how it has been for eons?

The hand-wringing is coming from the opposing side, the liberals and non-Christians with a devil-may-care attitude.

For example California voters approved the ban on same-sex marriages last year and the knee-jerk aggressive reaction from the dogmatic liberal side was immediate. They staged protests, riots, boycotts and threats. They discriminate against anybody that doesn't share their warped viewpoints.

There is also no such thing as a homophobe. Most people that are against same-sex marriages are Christians who love the sinner but hate the sin.

That's not true at all. I understand the point that most people aren't afraid of homosexuals as individuals, but there is a real fear of homosexuality among many.
