You're giving Arkansas too much credit.

There is no strong argument against gay marriage. That most amusing argument is that God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.

The best argument that opponents have is that gay marriage will jeopardize their own marriage. Either these people are in the closet over something or their marriage does not stand on solid ground if the feel threatened by it.

Default 5 states down-45 to go!

It is so refreshing to see states falling like dominoes legalizing gay marriage. I am for equality and I do believe you have the right to be with who you love. The government should not decide who you can marry. Free country!

Other countries have legalized gay marriage-our Neighbor Canada-and nothing has happened to them. They are doing well and living their own life. The sky has not fallen on them and it never will.

If you are against gays or gay marriage, you dont have to believe in it. Sure, that is your right. But you should never deny people their RIGHTS because of your BELIEFS. Yeah, religion is all a BELIEF. You have every right to go home and worship as you please.

I know some religious Republican people who are against gay marriage but would still vote for gay marriage because they understand their beliefs should not affect another person. To these people, I salute you!

I want ALL my fellow Americans to be able to love someone the way I love my significant other and not fear anything. I know I can marry him and have the benefits. I know I can leave me things to him. I want each and EVERY American to feel this as well. Nobodies marriage will be devalued because of gay marriage. If anything, the anti gay marriage people should go after figuring out the Divorce rates. Now that is ruining the scared aspect of marriage.

So guys, 5 states down and 45 more to go. When will we see equality for our fellow Americans who are gay or lesbian?

Yay for equality! I am really happy today.
