I'm not straight so I cant speak for them.
I am just saying, the money doesn't need to be spent in Argentina.......they could have spent it here and gotten the same results.
I wouldn't say the same results since I suspect Argentinian culture and American culture are different but I totally see what you're saying.
I personally would have rather seen a private company do their own study rather than using government money.
Results may be similar, but for the government to get a better idea of how to curb the problem here, the money should have been spent HERE!
I completely agree.
I would rather PSAs or posters be put up in areas that may be frequented by gay men (even though I don't think the study should focus JUST on gay men....) and talk about drinking responsibly and using a condom if/when they have sex.
No, no, no. Don't you see all those "green shoots" ?
The economy is recovering..the government said so.
They said we're going to be all better starting in June 2009.
Well you have to hand it to the conservatives, their cost cutting measures for studying gay sex in airport and interstate restrooms have put those Dems to shame!
As a gay man, this really pi$$es me off. Why are we going to ARGENTINA to do this? Wouldn't the money have been better spent here in the USA, like maybe bars in NYC, LA, Dallas or even here in Waco? I think someone just wanted a "vacation" in Argentina, so that is the REAL reason why the money is being spent there!
