High above the rugged border, an unmanned Predator B drone equipped with night-vision cameras and cloud-piercing radar scanned the landscape for signs of smugglers, illegal immigrants or terrorists.

Armed agents checked the identification of border crossers while radiation sensors and other devices monitored vehicles entering by road. Soon, a new network of telescopic and infrared video cameras mounted atop 80-foot-tall metal towers will rise above critical locations.

Yes, because our Northern border is where 20 million illegals came from right?

Why not add another 100 miles of fence in Arizona instead of this nonsense designed to do nothing but cost money, and ensure that the future Democrat voters aren't stopped from illegally crossing the border.

They have captured people from 22 different countries crossing the Mexican border into Arizona.

And, the fence in AZ is complete - and now the Virtual Fence starts construction - all 2200 miles of it, next week.

To catch virtual illegal aliens? A virtual fence sounds like something that I would use from keeping my dog from running away. And seeing as there are only 20 countries in South and Central America, the 22 number sounds very scary...

Iran, Syria etc.

And the virtual fence lets the Border Patrol know where the crossers are so they can get them -

It is well known most 'terrorists' entering the U.S do so through U.S P.O.E's.
The OP was referring to the US/Mexican Border.

Law Enforcement has detained people, entering the US Illegally, across the US/Mexican border, from 22 countries.

This seems as good a thread as any, so...
How do you stop illegals crossing the border, take away the reason they come here. Now all you have to do is think for a second and you will know how that is done.
As for secure borders, I want the government to do what they can to do exactly that, why, because it is not only people that are looking for work that are crossing. Unfortuntaly, I think the horse has already left the barn, so to speak.
