A group of ACORN insiders are trying to come forward with their stories of how a well intended organization got usurped and corrupted by the thirst for big government dollars and influence.. Problem is, most media outlets don't seem to want to give these people any voice. Pretty interesting to hear the accounts of what happened with Acorn. Thankfully a few of these folks have come on Glenn Beck to tell their stories... Marcel Reid is the most interesting speaker in the interview. She is the Chairman of the Washington DC chapter of ACORN. She has been calling for an audit of ACORN, but her call for transparency has resulted in her being barred from her own office! She is an impressive woman. Very smart and very brave, I hope she can see this through and get her organization back. These insiders need to have their digital recorders going 24/7 across the e-mail, phone, and f2f interaction spectrum.

Acorn was started with good intentions. The people speaking out want to bring it back to supporting those in need rather than exploiting them for political and financial gain.
