Perhaps "The Newt" forgot the reason he had to resign from Congress in 1998, but by his own standard he cannot be President of the United States since as Speaker he lied to the ethics committee. Newt is just trying to keep the base engaged with his talk of a presidential bid. He has decided not to run in the past because he knows that there is a lot of dirt on him and he would be too easily smeared. The base is very supportive of him but he knows that he doesn't stand a real chance because of his past.

Yes, it's just mind boggling... It's laughable that Boehner wanted to have Pelosi either provide facts or appologize to the CIA? How about the fact that the Bush Administration initiated the Torture Program, not Pelosi? By the way, has anybody seen Cheney lately?
