not entirely, the recession began on the other guy's watch, have you forgotten? and, recessions do last awhile, our messiah doesn't have a magic wand like you people think. please do some history research on recessions and depressions, and you might attain a greater understading of what is going on. oh, ps, the market dives also started under bushka too, or, did you all forget that too?

You have to remember, nothing bad that happens on this fake Presidents watch will be his fault. Anything that happens that is a postive will be all his.

Come on march in line like the rest of the Fidel Obama robots and get it right.

By the way, there will be a ton of first on the fake President Obamas record. And they wont be very good either.

He will be setting records of all kinds.

Right now he has lost more jobs at this time period then any President in our history.

And this week he did something else no other President has ever done.

Obama screwed over a bunch of 5 year olds who were scheduled to see him on a field trip. They showed up and Obama give them to ole heave ho and sent them home crying. Didn't even have the class to talk to them.

He did not have time for them because he was receiving a Pittsburgh Steeler Jersey. Guess kids and education does not come first for him afterall. Shame on him.
disrespectful to say the least.

For an in depth analysis of Cheney's lies, omissions and misstatements from both liberal and not so liberal sources.

Just a taste:

-"Cheney said that the Bush administration "moved decisively against the terrorists in their hideouts and their sanctuaries, and committed to using every asset to take down their networks."

The former vice president didn't point out that Osama bin Laden and his chief lieutenant, Ayman al Zawahri , remain at large nearly eight years after 9-11 and that the Bush administration began diverting U.S. forces, intelligence assets, time and money to planning an invasion of Iraq before it finished the war in Afghanistan against al Qaida and the Taliban ."

-"Cheney said that "the key to any strategy is accurate intelligence," but the Bush administration ignored warnings from experts in the CIA , the Defense Intelligence Agency , the State Department , the Department of Energy and other agencies, and used false or exaggerated intelligence supplied by Iraqi exile groups and others to help make its case for the 2003 invasion.

Cheney made no mention of al Qaida operative Ali Mohamed al Fakheri , who's known as Ibn Sheikh al Libi , whom the Bush administration secretly turned over to Egypt for interrogation in January 2002 . While allegedly being tortured by Egyptian authorities, Libi provided false information about Iraq's links with al Qaida , which the Bush administration used despite doubts expressed by the DIA."

Cheney's speech contained omissions, misstatements - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/mcclatchy/20090521/pl_mcclatchy/3237981 - broken link)

"Cheney's evasiveness is more basic than this. He still refuses to acknowledge what nearly everyone else has: that these interrogations did amount to torture. "Torture was never permitted," he said, even while conceding the occasional water-boarding. These methods, he noted, "were given careful legal review before they were approved"—ignoring that these legal reviews were conducted by his own aides and have since been discredited almost uniformly.

Still, he persists. To call this program "torture," he went on, "is to libel the dedicated professionals"—the "carefully chosen" CIA personnel who conducted the interrogations—"and to cast terrorists and murderers as innocent victims." Of course, it does no such thing. Most of the criticisms, including President Obama's, have been directed at the Bush administration's top policymakers, not at those who carried out their orders. And nobody is claiming that the subjects of interrogation were "victims," much less "innocent." To decry torture does not imply the slightest sympathy for the likes of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed."

Cheney lied about the torture....and Pelosi and others knew about it too....

As to the need for Guantanamo, it's still open...I guess the current administration agrees with Cheney on this one but hey it helped get votes and now people have forgotten.

Cheney is horrible but to his credit he gives dishonest people something to use as a distraction when they are unable or unwilling to discuss the current state of guantanamo bay, the wars etc.

By all means, keep it open long enough to waterboard Cheney and Bush for their war-crimes.

Seems reasonable. Can you tell me again what you find so objectionable with his position?

Conservative radio hosts gets waterboarded and admits it was torture.

Waterboarding is torture and that is exactly why it should be used on terrorists.
They were using waterboarding TO FIND OUT if the torturee WAS a terrorist.

Your logic says that it should replace pat downs at the airports.
