So just because a politician is gay means he must automatically support any and all pro-gay legislation? This suggests that representing the will of the constituency has taken the backseat to the will of the penis.

Please clarify why you think this should be, if you do indeed believe this is hypocrisy.

The pro-gay agenda says...

That all politicians who are closeted, or gay must support everything that homosexuals do.

Misery loves company.

Because someone alleges that a politician is gay, they must vote as Perez Hilton would?

It sounds like "documentary" is used pretty loosely here as usual.

It couldnt be more hypocritical -- or a better indicator of that politician's trustworthiness.

So voting the will of the constituency means nothing to you? You'd rather the politician vote by the head of his penis instead of the will of the people that put him office? What if his constituency is ardently anti-gay? His penis is now the dictator of votes - will of the people be damned?

Explain.

Not all openly gay people feel the same way on all the issues. Why should it be any different for someone who is alleged to be gay?

To be genuine, to truly do a good job -- in your work as well as when you're retired and looking at what you've done in your life -- you have to believe that what you're doing is true and right. See my earlier post re trustworthiness. If this is a foreign concept to you I cant help.

Hypocrisy (or the state of being a hypocrite) is the act of preaching a certain belief, religion or way of life, but not, in fact, holding these same virtues oneself. For example, an adult telling children not to smoke cigarettes, even though the adult smokes.
When a politician (or anyone for that matter) speaks out about what sinners gay people are, or how they're going to hell, or how they're unnatural, and then is doing the very things they are speaking out against, well, they're a hypocrite.

Do as I say, not as I do.
