He may not be a great orator, but he doesn't mince his words. He's not posturing for the Presidency, he's smarter than that with his health. But he tells the truth, and I like that in a politician, don't you?

Quote:
Dick Cheney is giving the Republican Party a demonstration of how to fight a popular president. Stake out defensible high ground, do not surrender an inch, then go onto the attack.

The ground on which Cheney has chosen to stand is the most defensible the Republicans have: homeland security. In seven-and-a-half years after 9-11, not one terrorist attack struck our country.

And, unlike Obama's position, Cheney's is 100 percent reality based. He was there. He lived through this. He made the decisions to use the harsher techniques on the worst of the enemy who could yield the greatest intelligence to save American lives.
Hopefully he won't die in the process. Hopefully, the Republicans will find some backbone before the mid-term elections. Hopefully, the American people will open their eyes, remove their blinders, go to the polls and bounce the clowns, the nay-sayers, the sheeple out of office.

No, when he said shut-up to his lawyer, he didn't use words.

He just minced meat.

Not sure where to find the poll but I heard his approval level was up 12% in the last week.

He needs to continue combating the obama admin's disinformation and partisan "leaking" of intelligence, everyday, all day.

It is so amusing how obama himself has elevated Cheney. Cheney's speech was scheduled long ago, but obama just had to get out there with a poorly written, full of his empty rhetorical flourishes to try and upstage and answer Dick.

All it really did was show what a complete lightweight and amateur obama truly is.

If anyone has strong qualifications in the fields of disinformation and partisan 'leaking' it's certainly Dick Cheney, an expert in both areas.

I agree. Obama looked like a dope. A weak dope at that. Shocking that Mr. Rwonley in N. Korea and Psychoboy in Iran are poking him in the eye this week. Guess Barry's girlfriend in Venezuela still has a crush, but he too will get in on the wedgie giving. Barry is a liberal wuss the likes we have not seen in the oval ofc.

Oh, well...Cheney was grand. Finally, someone with some b*lls. Other than Limbaugh. I always knew he was a great broadcaster, but he is quite the guy to take the media on. Bravo to both of them. I'm starting to see a few cracks in the media....Just a few "mean" Obama political cartoons, a rogue journo asking a REAL question....Enough to give me a bit of hope.

What I like most about Cheney is how he is nearly 100% percent wrong every time he oepns his mouth.

Funny, Cheney shows the way... What way would that be? The way that even the Bush administration abandoned after the 2004 elections? The way that has been denounced by the chief interrogator Ali Soufan and Major Mathew Alexander? The way denounced by Tom Ridge the first director of Homeland Security and today Gen. David Petraeus? That way?

Like outing CIA operatives, perhaps?

Cheney has been urging Obama to release classified info. Obama has kept the secrets classified. What "leaking" has occured was deliberately done by Cheney's office.

Cheney is trying to become too important to be tried by an international tribunal for war crimes. The man is running scared behind his lies.
