Zero Hedge

A lot of data suggest that a little hanky panky was going on in the closing of Chrysler dealerships around the country, if you donated to the Clinton campaign then you may have a pass. 5 th post down at the Zero Hedge website:

Then we got to thinking. Steven Rattner, the Car Czar, is married to Maureen White, one-time national finance chairman of the Democratic National Committee. What does Maureen do now? From her website:
Maureen White is currently Chairman of the Board of Overseers of The International Rescue Committee (IRC), a member of the North American Advisory Board for the London School of Economics, and a National Finance Chair of the Hillary Clinton for President Campaign. (emphasis ours)

If there's true statistical significance in the closings, any statistician will tell you it's EXTREMELY unlikely to be a coincidence.

It's almost unbelievable how stupid their rhetoric and propaganda is.

Sincerely, only someone with a below average IQ could fall for this Chrysler/ GOP conspiracy theory.

But here it is ..being spread around their little World....taken as the gospel truth.

Showing dollar totals proves nothing. A proper comparison would be between the number of closings and the number of dealerships that donated to the respective candidates. If 80% of dealerships donated to Republicans, for example, then the proper ratio of closings would be 4-1. Do you have such data?

Did you check the website site and look at the data chart it is the 5 th article on the blog and quite detailed. Along with an error percentage of 12 % just to be careful.

It takes a real persecution complex to find something worthwhile here. You really think that the Obama administration would conduct a conspiracy to hurt a handful of car dealers? Because they donated to the GOP? Seriously?

Nuts.

Nuts.
If the data points to a clear partition between those who actively supported Democrats and those who opposed them, any rational minded person would suggest it is worthwhile to investigate. It all depends on how the data is aligned.
