Cheap stuff!

But, what about the people that work in these factories? Are they better off?

Ask someone who works in a sweat shop in Cambodia making 70USD/mth. They probably aren't very happy

Have you actually talked to anyone from very poor countries? They are so glad to have that factory job making $30 a month. It might seem like a very small amount to you but it is actually a very good sallary for them because of the low cost of living in their country. It gives them enough money to afford a place to live and to feed their families. So please don't talk about something you obviously have no experience with.

Excuse you, are you talking to me? If you are, i've been to Cambodia - i have Cambodian friends and they'd rather a more fair wage for their efforts...
