Who pays us to stop eradicating the Eastern Hardwoods and fields and shoreline vegetation along the coast?

Ok to keep other countries in primitive condition for the tourist trade as dwindling fileds and woods are turned into Fawn Way and Fox Chase lane right here in the states.

Solutions have to be found, but to think this is one of them is worse than doing nothing.

Right.

Why is it so difficult for people to understand the devastating level of deforestation that has currently happened, and is ongoing? Trees matter. You know why? Because if deforestation continues at current levels, we will not survive as a species. And any attempts to put environmental restraints on timber companies--in the Amazon and elsewhere--is met with rightwing screeching about an affront to their deity "the free market." Sorry, folks, economics cannot come before the health of the planet. The planet dies, business dies with it. Or hadn't that occurred to you?
Priorities....priorities.....WHERE are the jobs promised?? Unemployment is at an all time high!! People are losing their homes..........Has that occurred to you?
