I was at a Bar with a girl one night.she asked if I wanted to see a picture of her Baby ? Sure.I said that is one ungly Kid.Did you ever figure out who the father is?
Dang she didn't want to have anything to do with me the rest of the night
My first two children were the prettiest babies most people had ever seen.
Then I had the last one. He was NOT a pretty baby and I knew it.
No one lied to me....we avoided the conversation.
When he became a toddler, his dad said to me "Hey...I think he's getting cute."
All I could say is "Oh, you knew he was ugly too and didn't tell me! I wondered if I was the only one who noticed!"
He's a great looking kid now.....but he had a VERY humble beginning!
So, I think Moms do know if their babies aren't the cutest ones around. Doesn't mean we don't love them....we just know. BUT NO.....DO NOT SAY THIS TO THEM......EVER!
I'd rather have a baby who was ugly when born, but got better looking as it got older. I know of friends who had beautiful babies, but got uglier when they got older.
I've commented on stranger's ugly babies. It's not right, but hey, everyone needs something to talk about at the county fair. Besides, I don't think that baby was old enough to be at the bar.

I guess when you run into someone who has an ugly baby, you have a dilemna when they ask your opinion. You don't want to tell the truth about the baby being ugly but you also don't want to tell a lie so what's a person to do?
Just say "oh! It's a BABY!"
