I saw that today.

A lot of people recognize blatant discrimination when they see it.

She's going to be confirmed.

It's to be expected. Polls go all over the place all the time, especially with hot button issues such as this.

Most polls are meaningless and just for topic of discussion. Polls are there for political argument on both sides of the aisle.

We're talking about a change of a lousy 5%...throwing in the MOE and taking into account the polling firm.. it means absolutely nothing.

You are absolutely right.

However, GOP is laying groundwork to hang the "liberal judges" millstone around the neck of future democratic opponents. That's a very effective line of attack for them.

A lot of people wouldn't recognize the Supreme Court if they saw it. Have Rasmussen ask people whether they would expect free hydrogen to be formed in an aqueous reaction of silicon-based organosilane and metallic rhenium, and you would get the same results. 37% would guess yes, 39% would guess no, and 24% would admit that they hadn't the foggiest idea.
